UWE Bristol

I am a senior lecturer in economics at UWE, Bristol, where I am currently teaching across macroeonomics, finance and business ethics. I previously spent five years at Kingston University, London, and was a teaching fellow at SOAS, University of London, where I completed my doctorate on pension reforms in the European Union in 2019.

My research to date has focused on the behaviour of financial institutions, explored through macroeconomic theories drawn from heterodox economics and international political economy. I have worked professionally on pension reform legislation in the UK, and served as a trustee on a Local Government Pension Scheme, which collectively is the largest Defined Benefit fund in the UK. I have worked across a broad spectrum of social policy areas in both influencing and decision-making roles.
