I am a Senior Assistant Professor (RTDB) in Political Economy at the Department of Economics and Statistics at the University of Salerno.

I was previously a research fellow at the University of Tuscia, the University of Siena, Roma Tre University. I was a lecturer at the University “G. d’Annunzio” of Chieti-Pescara and a visiting professor at the Free University of Berlin. PhD in Economics at Roma Tre University.

My main research interests involve macroeconomics, monetary and fiscal policies, and the history of economic thought.

I am currently working on:

  • the impact of monetary policy on functional income distribution;
  • the macroeconomic and environmental impact of public innovation expenditures;
  • how financialization can affect the normal rate of profit;
  • modelling demand-side Secular Stagnation.
